Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: June 1, 2026
M45 Automotive ("we," "our," or "us") does not sell your personal information for money. However, like many businesses, we use third-party advertising and analytics cookies — including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — that share certain online identifiers with those providers to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even when no money changes hands.
This page explains how California residents can exercise their right to opt out. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Your Right to Opt Out
If you are a California resident, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. You may exercise this right at any time, free of charge, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
2. Information That May Be Shared
The categories of personal information that may be "sold" or "shared" through advertising and analytics cookies are limited to online activity data, including:
- Identifiers: IP address, cookie IDs, and device or advertising identifiers.
- Internet activity: Pages visited, links clicked, referring URLs, and browsing behavior on our website.
- Inferences: Interest categories derived from your activity, used to deliver relevant ads.
We do not sell or share your name, email address, phone number, vehicle records, or appointment details for advertising purposes. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16 years of age.
3. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using any of the methods below. The fastest way is the privacy control on this site (Option A).
Option A — Use the privacy control on this site
Open your privacy choices and switch Marketing off, then save. This immediately stops the advertising and remarketing tools (Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) from sharing your activity, and records your choice. You can also switch Analytics off in the same panel.
Our own privacy-first, cookieless site analytics runs as an essential service to keep the site working and is not advertising — it sets no cookies, shares nothing with advertisers, and is automatically turned off when you use a Global Privacy Control signal (Option B).
Option B — Use a Global Privacy Control signal
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you visit our site using a browser or extension that broadcasts a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser — no further action is needed. Because GPC is tied to a specific browser and device, you will need to enable it on each browser and device you use.
Option C — Submit a request to us
Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or call us at (530) 823-7645. Please include the email address and approximate dates of your visits so we can locate and honor your request. We will process verified requests within 15 business days.
Option D — Opt out directly with our advertising partners
- Manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
- Opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and optout.networkadvertising.org (NAI).
- Disable or clear cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of certain site features.
Because these opt-outs are stored in cookies, you will need to opt out again if you clear your cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device.
4. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you gave them signed permission to act for you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.
5. Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights. Opting out of advertising cookies will not affect your ability to schedule or receive vehicle service from M45 Automotive.
